History & Culture

Founded in 2006 as Sky Blue FC, the club rebranded to NJ/NY Gotham FC in 2021. The 2023 NWSL Championship was the franchise's first major trophy — a watershed moment for a club that had battled through years of instability. Home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ have become some of the most atmospherically intense in the league.
